Dennis Austin and Thomas Rudkin. It was named PowerPoint in 1987.

Ans: Normally Presentation is a collection of slides. It may have one or more slides. PowerPoint is used to represent
a particular topic in an effective way. Pictures, Text, Graphs, Charts, Animation, and Transitions etc. are used to
make a presentation. To make a presentation, we can use PowerPoint.

2. Layout: It is a simple design. It shows the placement of objects on the slides. PowerPoint provides many different
types of layouts for making presentations easily. A Slide Layout may have Title, Table, Chart, ClipArt, SmartArt,
Picture etc. on it.
3. Slide Transition: The visual effect that appears when a slide comes after the other slide during Slide-Show, is
called Slide Transition. PowerPoint provides many types of visual effects for Slide Transitions. To apply slide
transitions, we use Transitions tab in PowerPoint.
